DESCRIPTION:Civitan Fitness Park will celebrate its opening ceremony on Saturday May 13th 2023 starting at 9:30 am.\nThe park has been renovated with a focus on fitness to encourage the community to embrace health and wellness. We are happy to add back our two shelters; they are located near the Yalp Sona and the other is near the courts. Speaking of the courts\, we are opening up the option to reserve the tennis courts\, pickleball courts and basketball court. Reservations are available online through ActiveNet or by calling the office at 336-996-3062. If you are wanting to reserve for tournament for any of the courts or the ballfield\, contact the Athletic Coordinator at 336-996-3039. \n

Hutchins. \nThe May 19 movie is Minions: Rise of Gru.\n“The untold story of one twelve-year-old’s dream to become the world’s greatest supervillain.” – IMDB \nWe would also like to thank our contributing sponsors: Cone Health MedCenter Kernersville & Sutton Brothers HVAC & Plumbing \n  \nThis year for everyone’s safety we are going to reiterate that the playground will be CLOSED at dusk when the movie begins and all children will need to be supervised by a parent at that time.\n  \nThe event will begin at 6:30pm. You can enjoy all the vendors we have on site before the movie. There will be games to enjoy before the movie starts\, as well as food to munch on! First 100 guests received a goodie bag\, beginning at 6:30pm. The feature film will start at dusk which is around 8:30pm.
