Kernersville Parks & Recreation offers internship opportunities to provide a professional learning opportunity through meaningful, practical work related to a student’s field of study or career interest. We provide the student with an environment for career exploration and development. Hosting interns also allows us to bring new ideas and energy into the workplace, offer guidance about the current workforce and build a connection for future employees.

We also love involving citizen through the use of volunteering. Our special events and parks improvements projects rely heavily on the assistance of volunteers. There are many opportunities for individuals, groups, students and businesses to invest in the community.
