When is the Honeybee Festival?
The festival takes place Saturday, August 16, 2025, which is always the third Saturday in August.

Vendor Information

When does the vendor application open?
Application is closed for the 2025 Festival. It will reopen on march 1st, 2026 for the 2026 Honeybee Festival.

Pets, Parking & Safety

Are pets allowed?
Yes! We’re a pet-friendly event. Please make sure your furry friends are leashed at all times.

Where do I park?

  • General Parking: Kernersville Elementary School (512 W. Mountain St.)

    • Enter the event from the bus parking lot or walk along the sidewalk from West Mountain Street.

  • Accessible Parking:
    Available at the front lot of Fourth of July Park (off West Mountain St.). Please follow posted signage and have your handicap placard visible. If this lot fills up, use general parking.

Can I ride skateboards or bikes in the park?
For everyone’s safety, no bikes or skateboards are allowed during the festival. The skate park will be closed during the event.

Absolutely! We’ve got a full lineup of activities and entertainment for all ages.

Weather & Emergencies

What if it rains?
This is a rain-or-shine event. In case of severe weather (like thunderstorms), the most up-to-date info will be posted on our Facebook page. Be sure to follow us @kvparks.

Is there medical assistance on site?
Yes! The Kernersville Police Department and Fire Rescue will be onsite throughout the event. Look for them near the food court area.


Payments & Admission

Is there an ATM on site?
No ATMs will be available on the festival grounds. Nearby ATMs include:

  • First Citizens Bank – 134 S. Main St.
  • Bank of America – 205 E. Mountain St.
  • Wells Fargo – 115 Century Place Blvd.
  • Fidelity Bank – 163 S Main St.
  • Allegacy FCU – 212 E Mountain St.
  • First National Bank – 230 E Mountain St.
  • Truist – 237 E Mountain St.

Most vendors accept credit cards and Apple Pay, but we recommend bringing some cash just in case.

Do you charge admission?
Nope! Admission is FREE — but BEE sure to bring spending money for vendors, activities, and food trucks!
