Due to forecasted Wind and weather from the tropical storm in the area, we have made the difficult decision to cancel todayβs Music in the Park event with The Dryes
We are just as disappointed as you are and will do our best to have this even again in the future.

When is the event?
The 2023 Music in the Park is Saturday September 23rd from 10am to 5pm.
Where is the event located?
Music in the Park is held at the Harmon Park (152 S. Main Street, Kernersville, NC).
Who will be performing?
11:00am – Michael Chaney – Webpage
12:15pm – Megan Doss & Jon Montgomery – Megan Doss Webpage, Jon Montgomery Webpage
3:00pm – The Dryes – Webpage
Are pets allowed?
We don’t recommend pets at events near main roads and live music, but they must be on a leash.
Parking?
Parking is available at any Downtown parking lot area as well as Main Street UMC: (306 S Main St, Kernersville, NC 27284)
South Main Street from Harmon Lane towards to the downtown intersection will be closed for your convenience to cross the road into the park.
Accessible parking is limited due to the size of the parking lot at Harmon Park, There will be limited space available. If you require a reasonable accommodation or modification to enjoy this event due to a disability or concern, please contact the department at least 2 weeks before the scheduled event.
What if it rains?
This is a rain-or-shine event. If we cancel, it will be due to inclement weather warnings/watches.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
NO outside alcohol allowed, Coolers will be subject to check. Help us keep our parks clean of litter. Carry In β Carry Out; utilize the trash cans around you. There will be Food Trucks on site!
Since the event is 10am-5pm, can I bring a tent?
NO tents allowed, the viewing area cannot be blocked inside the park
Do you charge admission?
No, admission is FREE.
What if I get overstimulated by the music and activity?
We will have sensory bags at the Parks & Recreation tent that you can check out and use while enjoying the event. These bags will include various items like fidgets and noise reducing headphones to help everyone enjoy the festivities.

Help us keep our parks clean of litter. Carry In β Carry Out; utilize the trash cans around you.
Our parks are tobacco-free.
Please be respectful and considerate to everyone around you.
