All it means is that the year is winding down, BUT for us here at Parks and Recreation we still love offering events for you to attend-no matter the weather. We have three special events that round out the year: the Haunted Movie Night, Downtown Trick or Treat, and the Christmas Tree Lighting. Write these dates in your calendar to be a part of the fun!
Haunted Movie Night – Friday October 14th 💀
We are celebrating the spooky season! Join us for our 3rd Kernersville Haunted Movie Night on Friday October 14th! The feature film is The Nightmare Before Christmas! Harmon Park will be transformed for a Haunted night of fun. We will also have D&R Sweet Treats (caramel apples, etc.), Struggle Bus (Apple Cider/Hot chocolate), Giannos Food Truck & Hotdog Hideaway on site.

Downtown Trick or Treat – Monday October 31st 🍬
Classic event right here! We partner with the Chamber of Commerce and the Police Department to host a safe, fun, and candy filled event for your children. Trick or Treat throughout the downtown businesses in your Halloween costume. Don’t forget to stop by Haunted Harmon Park as well! Information Here
Christmas Tree Lighting – Saturday December 3rd 🎄
It truly feels like the holiday season is underway once you attend the Kernersville Christmas Tree Lighting. Weather you need to bundle up in, carols, hot chocolate, tons of Christmas lights and a delightful guest appearance from Santa himself!! Event Detail Coming Soon
